About 114,000 Ohioans have received notices from the state's Department of Medicaid that they will be enrolled in a demonstration project called MyCare Ohio. The program is aimed at better coordinating health care through managed care for adults and people with disabilities over age 18 who receive both Medicaid and Medicare benefits. To get the most out of this integrated care, these "dually eligible" consumers must educate themselves now.
